Boho Vibes Hello Card

This week, I’ll be using products from the Boho Vibes Suite Collection to make some bright and fun cards. All of the colors in the suite work so well together (shocker, right? haha) and the I love the mix of sentiments and die shapes:

There are a lot of great samples using this collection all over the internet – scrapbook layouts, treat holders, you name it. I went with cards for this week.

So how did I make this one? I started with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ card base of Daffodil Delight, scored down the middle at 4 1/4″. I have a Mossy Meadow layer cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″. I ran this through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine twice using the ‘glass’ embossing folder from the Glass & Garden EF set. The first time I left the paper hanging out halfway so the the bottom of the panel got the full images. I then ran the piece through again so the the embossing was allowed to ‘feather out. I used the partial rainbow die to cut out a rainbow on the top of this Mossy Meadow piece. This allowed just some of the arches to be cut out but keeping the Mossy Meadow panel whole.

I took a 3 3/4″ x 3″ scrap of Basic White and adhere strips of the gorgeous DSP to it on an angle. I trimmed the edges of any DSP hanging over that piece of Basic White and adhered this panel to the back of my open rainbow.

I tied a bow to this Mossy Meadow panel using the new Darling Duckling ribbon. I used two gold foil sprigs and a strip of Basic White for my “Hello” sentiment piece. I finished the card off with some of those Muted Palette Dots from the collection.

I have been partial to the darker colors lately (Secret Sea in a major way). Mossy Meadow was my great friend for this card. I hope you like it!
