Notes & Totes Scrapbook Layout

I made this single page scrapbook layout using both the Mixed Florals bundle and the Notes & Totes Dies. There are a lot of beautiful cards made with this particular piece of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper from the Mixed Media Florals Suite. I decided to use it as my page for a scrapbook layout:

I created a central ‘square’ image by taking a 7″ x 6″ piece of Two-Tone Petal Pink and ripping the edges. I then made my photo place holder using a 6 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. This layout is for a single 4 ” x 6″ photo – but you could always change it up to whatever to you need.

I stamped the floral image onto a piece of Basic White using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I colored the image in using a bunch of different Stampin’ Blends (I’ll list them in the products below). I cut that floral image out using the die. I also cut a the leafy, grassy piece out of Mossy Meadow using the die from the set.

I took 3 pieces of Mossy Meadow Two-Tone paper (1 1/2″ x 7″, 2″ x 7″, and 3″ x 7″) and tore the side and top edges. I adhered the 3″ piece down first and then the 2″ and then the 1 1/2″. I made sure to only put glue on the sides on the second two pieces so I could slip my floral images in where they looked best.

I ‘constructed’ a fence out of Crumb Cake Two-Tone paper and the fence dies from the Notes & Totes Dies. I glued that together and adhered it over my ‘garden.’ Next came the tote. I used a piece of the Woven Textures DSP and Early Espresso cardstock to make my tote. I adhere that below my picture place holder and used a Memories & More lined card from the Mixed Floral pack. I finished off the layout with some cute lady bugs I had left over from my OnStage swaps (I made them by stamping, cutting, coloring and then layering with Fine Tip Glue).

I hope this makes you smile as much as it makes me smile. If you have any questions on how I made this, feel free to message me.
