Hearts of Elegance Gift Bag

So part of the Marbled Elegance Suite Collection are two sized gift bags and I had to do something with them besides hold them in my hands and make cooing noises at how cute they were! Here is my attempt at making them even cuter!

I used the smaller bag in the case. I cut a heart out of regular copy paper and adhered the negative over the center of the front of the bag. I then stamped the ‘xoxo’ images several times across that space so that I created a heart-shaped image. I then laid the heart of copy paper over that image and used a blender brush to add some color around it. What do you think? So cool – I love it.

I cut a small heart tag out of Real Red (using the same technique as the easel card project – hanging the top of the die just slightly over the folded crease of the cardstock so that it hinges out after being cut out). I used my handy ol’ Crop-a-dile to cut some holes in the bag and the tag and finished this bag off with some tissue paper and Gold Open Weave Trim (this ribbon will be available starting on Tuesday, the 7th of January).

I hope you like it. I usually make bags on my own out of DSP but it’s so much nicer to have them pre-made. Thanks Stampin’ Up! Have you ordered yours yet?
