Hearts & Hugs Gift Card Holder

It’s that time of year again for us up here in the Northeast – the end of the school year! And that means showing some love to those that did the same to our kiddos all year long!

This is a quick pop-up gift card holder I made using the new Hearts & Hugs bundle. This is the view from above – the gift card nestles in between the ‘boxes’ I made:

My card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ – I used Shy Shamrock, one of the new InColors. I colored two pieces of Basic White (4 1/4″ x 2″, scored every 1/2″ on the short side) with the Light Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends.

I adhered the two ‘boxes’ of Basic White using Tear & Tape – leaving the middle unadhered so that gift card could squeak in.

I decorated the front of the mechanism with that cute little critter and some flowers. Here are the supplies I used:
