Whole Latte Masking Technique Week (Card #2) – Late Post
(This was supposed to go out in early April – I just found that it didn’t post – sorry if you’ve already watched everything on Instagram or Facebook – eek – but in case you want the links)
Monday, we did a simple color block masking technique (read it here). Today, we’ll do what I call an overlay masking techniqe.
It’s a little more complicated – but what a great effect, right?! Essentially, this technique involves stamping an image on masking paper, fussing cutting it out, and then using it to cover the image you stamped.
Here are the measurements for the papers I used:
- Card base: Early Espresso, 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
- A Little Latte Designer Series Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″, 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
- Crumb Cake: 3 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
- Petal Pink: scrap
Here are the products that I used for this card:
Have you used this technique? If not -get to it!! Haha – I’d love to see what stamps you use with it.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my projects. I’d love to see yours so feel free to drop them in the comments.
