March 2023 Paper Pumpkin (Bonus Stamp Set)
March’s Paper Pumpkin box always celebrates the Paper Pumpkin’s ‘birthday’ – and there’s always (for as long as I have been a subscriber) an extra stamp set included.
This bonus stamp set has a large ‘happy’ stamp with smaller coordinating sentiments (Easter, Spring, Birthday, etc).
I needed to design some Easter cards so I chose that stamp to use with ‘happy’.
I stamped the larger leaf pattern in Soft Succulent on a Soft Succulent card base (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ folded at 4 1/4″ on the long side). On a piece of Basic White (3″ x 4 1/4″), I stamped ‘happy’ in Evening Evergreen and the lily image in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored in the lily with Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends. I stamped ‘Easter’ on a scrap of Soft Succulent in Tuxedo Black and trimmed very close.
I affixed the Basic White Panel to a panel of Pale Papaya (3 3/16″ x 4 7/16″) and affixed to the card base. I adhered the ‘Easter’ using a small strip of Stampin’ Dimensional.
