Dragonfly Garden Thank You Card

I almost didn’t want to post this one – the night before my Stamp-A-Stack, this Designer Series Paper sold out. But the card is so pretty, I had to share.

I used layers of cardstock and DSP and added a punched out, colored dragonfly as the focal point.

The card base is an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Mossy Meadow (scored at 4 1/2″ on the long side). Then comes a layer of Crushed Curry cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. The DSP is cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″.

I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow on a scrap of Basic White and cut out using the largest banner die from my favorite Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered it to the DSP and trimmed off one edge before it went onto the Crushed Curry layer.

I stamped the dragonfly in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in using blender pens, Rich Razzleberry and Balmy Blue. I put a layer of Wink of Stella over the top for some nice shimmer.

Here is a quick video that goes over the making of the card:
