Woolly Friends Sheep-Free Card

There’s just something about patterned paper that makes my crafty heart so happy… and this card is a perfect example of letting that paper do all the work (and maybe skipping parts of a stamp set you don’t want to focus on – ahem, sheep.)

I had a little stack of coordinating papers sitting on my desk (Snippets of Joy 12″ x 12″ DSP), and instead of choosing just one pattern (because let’s be honest… that’s the hardest part!), I decided to use all of them. And honestly? I love how it turned out!

The banner layout is such a fun way to showcase different patterns while still keeping everything neat and structured. I mixed florals with subtle textures and deeper tones to create contrast, and that peek of floral in the center just pulls everything together so beautifully.

To soften the look, I added a simple strip across the top with a sweet sentiment—“Sending Flowers & Sunshine”—and finished it off with a soft ribbon detail. It adds just the right amount of texture without taking away from those gorgeous papers.

This is one of those designs that looks detailed but is actually super easy to recreate—perfect for when you want something eye-catching without a lot of fuss.

Tell me… are you team “use all the pretty paper” or do you carefully pick just one? I’m definitely in the “use it all” camp!
