Woolly Friends Happy Card

Okay… I think this might be one of my favorite sheep cards yet!

There’s just something about this little guy that makes me smile—and paired with that sweet “Ewe Make Me Happy” sentiment, it’s basically impossible not to love!

For this card, I really wanted to play with layers while still keeping that soft, fresh feel. I started with that beautiful patterned paper (because yes… we are using the pretty paper! 😉), and then added a stitched arch layer to frame our little sheep. (Let’s hear it for Everyday Arches).

I lightly blended the background inside the arch to give it that soft sky and grassy feel—it’s subtle, but it really helps bring the whole scene to life. (I used Granny Apple Green and Azure Afternoon)

Of course, our sheep had to take center stage! I popped him up with dimension and added that tiny bow detail, which might be my favorite part… it just adds so much personality!

To finish it off, I tied in that soft ribbon across the front for texture and added the sentiment off to the side so everything feels balanced but still playful.

This is one of those cards that feels a little extra special but is still totally doable—and perfect for sending a little happiness to someone who needs it – who would you send yours too?

Here are the products that I used to make this super-cute card:
