Etched Autumn Watercolor Card
I’m giving you a break from the Gathering Together Suite Collection today (but don’t worry, there will be more projects coming your way soon . . . .) and am using the great background stamp, Etched Autumn.

Isn’t it pretty? There are so many ways this can be used – I went with heat embossing the image and then using a variety of colors to watercolor the leaves.

I am not going to lie – I really love how this came out. My husband caught me staring at the pretty shine and colors – haha!
I used a Crumb Cake card base of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. I stamped my image in Versamark on a similarly sized panel. I used gold embossing powder and heat set the image. I then trimmed the image down to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″.
I used an aquapainter and my reinkers to color in the image (Blackberry Bliss, Real Red, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, and Pretty Peacock). I then stamped my sentiment on a piece of Blackberry Bliss in Versamark, covered in gold powder, and heat set that, as well. I notched out a banner and that was that. I think the card does not need anything else – ooh, I’m in love.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my projects. I’d love to see yours so feel free to drop them in the comments.
