Peaceful View Card

I also received the Peaceful View stamp set at OnStage in March – it’s really quite beautiful:

It’s a large background stamp. I decided to pair it up with some blending of colors to create a sunset. I also used the Wonderful Thoughts bundle for my sentiment.

The card base is Night of Navy cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. The first panel is Darling Duckling and measures 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″. The Basic White panel is next and measures 5 1/4″ x 4″. You’ll also need a scrap of Basic White for your sentiment.

I used Blending Brushes (and channeled my inner Bob Ross) to make the sunset on the Basic White panel. I used Night of Navy, Timid Tiger, and Darling Duckling.

Watch the video of how we made this card (and try not to giggle and I talk about ‘happy little trees’):

I hope you liked this card – I really do. Here are the products that I used to make it:

Remember that Stampin’ Up! has a new rewards system. When you opt-in, you’ll start earning rewards when you spend $20 or more. Those rewards are available on your next purchase and you can roll them over. That’s what I’m doing – I have my eye on that mega scrapbooking kit that we’ll be using in July for the Virtual Album Retreat. It’s a 3-day event (July 16th-18th) and the kit (called Month by Month) costs $250. You’ll have a whole year’s worth of scrapbooking pages after those 3 days so I think it’s worth it.

If you have any questions, please contact me; I am a resource for you!

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my projects. I’d love to see yours so feel free to drop them in the comments.

Don’t forget to enroll in the Stampin’ Rewards program to build up discounts on your next purchase.
