CardNMum Sketch Challenge #11

Happy Friday – Here’s a sketch challenge to help you into the weekend – it’s especially useful if you find yourself knee-deep in scraps:

Here’s a sample that I whipped up using some of the new Online Exclusives available from Stampin’ Up! as of Wednesday:

I cut strips of the new Season of Green & Gold 12″ x 12″ DSP (I used differing lengths of a 1/2″ width – 3″, 3 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 4″, 4 1/2″, and 4 3/4″). I adhered those strips to a Mossy Meadow card base in a staggered fashion.

I stamped and cut out a tag using the Greetings of the Season bundle. I used Very Vanilla cardstock and Garden Green ink. I cut a 12″ length of the Very Vanilla and Black checked ribbon – I colored the ribbon in using the light Mossy Meadow Blend. I tied the ribbon onto the tag. I finished the tag off using some the Cherry Cobbler and Pearl embellishments – I colored in the pearl using a dark Mossy Meadow blend. I love that you can transform the lighter color embellishments into whatever shade you’d like using Stampin’ Blends! I then adhered the tag onto the card front with Dimensionals. All done!

What do you think? I love it! Give this sketch a try and show me your projects. I’d love to post them for all to see.

Here are the products that I used to make the card:
