Adoring Hearts Pencil Holder/Card
I scored some really cute pencils from Michael’s Craft Stores for my biggest kiddo to give out to his classmates this Valentine’s Day. Being me, I could not just throw them into a little baggy. It’s paper or it’s nothing – haha.
I used the Most Adored Designer Series Paper to make a quick holder for the pencil. I cut a piece of DSP at 7″ x 2 1/4″. On the 2 1/4″ side, I scored at 1/2″, 1″, 1 1/2″ , and 2″. On the 7″ side, I scored at 1/2″. I burnished those scores lines and made a simple box out of it.
I made a 3″ x 3″ card out a a 6″ x 3″ piece of Basic White card stock. I stamped a heart image from the Adoring Hearts set and added a “Just for You” banner. I also cut some hearts of out the bottom of the card front using a die from the set and placed a 3/4″ x 3″ piece of DSP behind it for some fun.
